YATRA.com is THE biggest fraud company. Review on Yatra

Booking a holiday 1 month in advance has been MY WORST DECISION EVER from Yatra.com

I booked a holiday package for Kashmir on 7th June through Yatra.com, made a full payment for the package on July 2nd. On 4th July, I got my package confirmation from Yatra.com(travel dates were 18-23 July).

But due to the unforeseeable circumstances and unrest in Kashmir valley I decided to call them on 11th July since there was no update from their side regarding the status of the trip since there were curfews all over the valley.Upon calling Yatra.com Their so called travel experts were insisting to continue the trip, giving absurd reasons like their "expert" travel adviser in Kashmir has said that the conditions will improve by the time you go there.This is so pathetic and inhumane from Yatra.com they are so greedy that they dont care about the security of their customers, they only care about how to cheat people.

After calling them multiple times finally I received an email on 14 July from one of their executive(Vijay Dahiya) saying due to the unrest in Kashmir valley Yatra.com is cancelling the tour and will refund the amount in 5-6 working days. After several follow ups and 8-9 working days later, I got a call from different travel executive(Ashish Bhatia) when asked where is Vijay Dahiya who mailed me initially I was given an absurd reason he is not available. After insisting for a written communication in this matter finally this executive agreed to drop an email but this time I was given a time frame of 10-12 working days. After 10-12 working days the situation is as is, there has been no progress on this matter. I am still waiting for my refund its been more than 20 working days.

The best part of their so called ‘excellent’ customer service is, the moment a customer raises a complaint, the assigned Travel consultant goes missing. I was assigned 3-4 different travel consultants, all of these people were unavailable over the numbers provided when called some of them said they left the firm and in someone's family there was emergency and these type of vague reasons.  The email IDs provided seem to go unnoticed. I don’t even have an alternate to seek a refund of the amount I have paid. Multiple long calls to the customer care doesn’t help either.

If you want a hassle free and stress free vacation, PLEASE NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH Yatra.com. Vacations are meant to relieve stress but booking through Yatra.com could actually give you more stress than the usual work stress.
