Yatra.com cheats while booking Holiday Packages .. Review on Yatra

I used Yatra for Holiday booking for the first time and would like to highlight the horrible experience(9th OCT 2016 to 14Th OCT 2016 – Andaman Island) . During the booking period they, chased me like anything, every now and then they used to call me, to sell the package. Once the deal is done, they sold me a sub-standard resort(Gold India) at HAVELOCK as category 3(As per Yatra, there is no STAR concept in Andaman island) and the cheapest room in that resort. The room was no better than the resort staff room. It’s not me alone, there are couple of other family who got cheated by Yatra. When I complained to Yatra, I used to get one answer as, they are still working on it. I never got a response from them. Here is the short description of the room-

• Door frame has been rusted because of insect

  
  




• The bathroom door was made of up TIN

  
  




• The bathroom was dirty and no exhaust fan is available. There is a small window, which is kept open throughout the year. the window passage is large enough to allow lizard/snake to enter into my room

  
  




• TV without remote. When we spoke to the manager, he told that no where it is mentioned that TV will be part of the amenities.

  
  




• The bed mattress was broken. later they replaced with a spring mattress, because of which we had back problem

  
  




• The cupboards does not have hanger and rod. When we spoke to the manager, he told that cup boards don’t come up with such things. All the cup boards were open.

  
  

Please do not ever use Yatra. Com they are the most horrible company. Please save your hard earned money so that you do not have to go on a forced vacation.
