I don't know if this has happened with you. But this happened with me twice. I called up Yatra.com  in february this year to book a ticket to india from US. The consultant and me finalized the ticket and  its rates(1090 Dollars)  and after double checking the rates again  I gave them my credit card details and suddenly he said the ticket rate is  1190 i.e 100 dollars more than what he said before. He said it was a slip of the tongue. I told him that I dont want that ticket for 1190 dollars. I disconnected the call and I called them again after a month and I got the deal for 1090. Now a few days ago I called them again to book a ticket. The consultant told me the price and I confirmed the price.


After giving the credit card details, the consultant again increased 100 dollars and said it's a slip of tongue. They were literally trying to fool customers. The consultant name is Anchal Taneja. This guy is trying  to con the customers and trying to earn a few dollars extra.After a a telephonic argument with the consultant  he agreed to book me at the same rate he offered me before. The price was about 1617 . When I gave credit card details, they typed 1671 dollars instead of 1617 which they say, happened accidentally.I came to know about it when I got the confirmation email. I brought this to the notice of their consultants and had a fight with them again to refund  the extra money they tried to con from me.


I feel that they are intentionally trying to fool customers. These consultants are big frauds so be careful. If you have had any similar experience, please share it here. Please  guys be careful about these people.
