The good things first
============
Both Dr Lalitha and Dr Geetha are good gynaecologists and being attached to the hospital, are available round the clock.
The patient records are maintained electronically making it easier to access them as and when required.
Admission procedure for cashless facility is smooth.
The staff baring one nurse(unfortunately, dont remember the name) in the labor recovery ward are well trained and take good care of the newborn and the new mother.
The doctors are very approachable and ready to interfere and guide the staff if there is any grievance on the patient's part.
The paediatricians are also very good and give a feeling of assurance that your baby is in good hands.
The private delux rooms are well-maintained and well-equipped.
The insurance desk is managed very professionally .
The billing department works as a well-oiled team of professionals. The head of the department is very friendly and forthcoming.
and now the Bad Things
=============
- The nurses present at the general ward/private rooms tend to mess up things to some extent . It is always better to discuss with your doctor to make sure that their instructions are being followed.
2.Very important to discuss the medication and post-operative care with your doctor and double check that it is being followed strictly. Chance of mess-up increases during shift-change time. Call/Meet the doctor in case of any small confusion.
Even though the food is good and served at your bed, the canteen people are very prone to messing up. Lodge a complaint immediately with the dietician.
The admission process, though smooth, takes more time than expected and you may need to shout at the staff manning the desk.(Though not always)
The people manning the cash counter need to learn a lot from the team at the Front- desk.
They are outright under-trained and horrible is a very soft word to describe them.
Special Mention
=========
Dr Lalitha is very good; She might come out to be very strict in the first one or two visits. But, she is ver y systematic and friendly. It is very reassuring to have her as your gynaecologist.
Dr Geetha has the demeanor of a strict school-teacher, but she also is very good at her job.
As a whole, the OB&G department is in good hands .
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
