Cons. 1. Shares the building with a mall and a residential complex - can you imagine a hospital doing this?




  1. The staff is not sure about the process - you go to multiple counters(there are only 3 in the reception) to get any information.




  2. Poor maintenance of infrastructure - lifts getting to dilapidated state already and its just about a year old.




  3. Staff takes shortcuts - instead of feeding an invalid patient(or serving food that an attendant may feed) they simply attach a nose pipe and feed liquid diet!






Well, I could go on and on. My mother was taken there for a CT-Scan and she returned home after 1 week and in poorer state than she left. She has alzheimers and used to barely respond when she went there.


The doctor there painted a very sorry state of her health to my father and coerced him into admitting her. Then they wanted to know the amount she was insured for to decide what room to move her to - irrespective of what we needed! At the end of 1 week with nose feeding, pushing and shoving by staff to change diapers, irrelevant medication and just lying in bed all through - she returned home incapable of any movement(she could move with support earlier), unable to recognize her grandchild or respond to external stimulus and having difficulty in swallowing since she did not need to do that for a whole week. The hospital's a money making machine and nothing else. I'm never going back there or to same the doctors elsewhere.


Added later: The first time her physician called me(at 11pm on day 1) was for.guess.no it was NOT to report about her health. He'd learnt that the insurance approval had not arrived and I'd not made a cash deposit at admission. So his first words to me were'hum to kahin ke bhi nahin rahe'! After which I had to spend 10 mins questioning him to learn how he arrived at this conclusion.
