I had an horrible and worst experience with this hospital(somajiguda branch) right from entry point. The facility is so congested that even patients who are sitting has to standup and give way for wheelchair patients in OPD wards.there is no ample space for waiting patients.middle level hospitals are much better these days. I didn't event think of this in a corporate hospital of this repute. On top of this, there is no privacy when u enter in doctor's cabin. At a time they are allowing 2 or 3 patients. One will be at main doctor and the other would require to narrate his disease/problem'history' to a junior doctor who asks you dozen's of question, which includes illogical and irrelevant question with utter disregard to commonsense. He fills pages of patient book sent by reception. The worst part is, the main doctor will not even see history & he simply again ask you what is the problem and starts writing half-a-dozen investigations/xrays/scans and ask u to visit him with these reports or at worst they may say you need to immediately admit into hospital, else u will die.
I went with lots of hope for mother's rheumatoid problem to a repute doctor, who is also president of IRA(Indian Rheum Assoc) and former HoD-Rhem at NIMS, to my surprise he proved to be money s*cking agent on behalf of Yashoda Hospitals. This bloody fellow is very partial to patients.in front me he asked one patient what he does, how much he earns, does he have insurance and the patient almost got frightend.for other patient, who came with some reference, he was so nice that don't do x-rays/scanning at Yashoda, it is very costly.do it outside.he even called from his mobile to a diagnostic centre and advised he is sending one patient. For my mother's case, he was very reluctant to even see recently done x-rays/scanning/blood/urine reports that were done in my home town -Appollo diagnsotic center . He insisted me to do these again or admit it immediately as creatinie is slightly above the normal range. I was telling him that my mother was hospitalized 3 weeks back and the creatine came down and now she only has joint pains.as per physicians advise we came to see you so that you can suggest the prescription keeping in mind of creatine which is slightly at the higher end of normal range. He was reluctant to listen and see all the reports and simply says he cannot .insisting me to admit it immediately.The supporting staff(goons may be better word) were so rude that they were more focusing on how quickly they send off patients from doctor's room without giving enough privacy for patient to discuss with doctor.
These s*ing hospitals/doctors charge 600 Rs for OP but will not give even 6 mins of time with patient. The middle level hospitals are much much better at least in this aspect. We go to repute doctors to seek a better advise and consultation. But this visit proved once again that corp hospitals have become so commercial that they will not bother about patients but money. HELL to this hospital and this so called repute rheumatoid doctor.
