?Wow?.you smell so heavenly?.?

?Hmmmm???

Wow, is that you or a flower ??

?Now what does that scent remind me of ? Umm?.?

?Lovely scent. What is it ??

?Now lemme check this one?which is it ??

?Passion ? Impulse ? No ? Then what is it ? It?s so beautiful.?

Imagine walking in a shady bower of flowers, with the most beautiful perfumes taking over your senses and leaving you intoxicated ? Yardley Deodorants are that fragrant and alluring.

Finding this one from a sea of deodorants flooding the market was not an easy task. I searched and searched for that one deodorant that would be very ?me?. I knew that I could never identify with a strong, musky scent and nor could I be comfortable with a sugary-sweet, diabetes-inducing excuse for a scent. It had to be something floral and natural for me. My personal space, that is the aura around me had to be like a shower of flower petals. So after trying hundreds, I discovered Yardley body spray ? which is available in five scents : Lily of the valley, Sandalwood, Jasmine, Red Rose and Lace.

Lily of the valley

Simply the best. It?s a flower that is a native of Europe and grows as a wild flower in the valleys of Britain. It is a fragrant bell shaped flower and apparently, there is an old British legend that St. Leonard fought against a great dragon in the woods, killing it after a deadly fight. It?s said that lilies-of-theValley bloomed at all the spots where this hero?s blood fell. Another legend goes that the fragrance of these flowers attracts the nightingalefrom bushes and leads him to choose his mate in the open space. For God?s sake, how much more romantic or quaint do you want a scent to be !

Sandalwood

This, of course, requires no descriptions. It?s charming, sweet and simply intoxicating. It may also smell sacred and very pure. Legend says that sandalwood or chandan has been scented by the Gods. Another legend says that the scent is so alluring that snakes wrap themselves around the sandal tree. (I don?t blame them !)

Jasmine

This one is absolutely lovely with no add-ons to take the beauty away from the original scent of the blooming jasmine flower.A popular legend about jasmine is that Cleopatra used to keep the sails of her ship soaked in jasmine to lure Mark Antony (Ah ! The lengths people go to !)

Red rose

This one is a tad on the stronger side. I suppose the sober minded should avoid it since it can smell somewhat loud and garish, unless you are a big fan of roses. For all you fans of red roses : did you know that there is a legend which says that the rose in the Garden of Eden was originally white ? It?s only after Eve kissed that white rose, it blushed and became red (Now that beats a chameleon !)

Lace

Lace is probably the mildest and also the most sophisticated out of all of them. It?s pleasant and sweet but frankly, not individualistic enough. You might get a sneaking suspicion that someone else may also be wearing a similar scent. Psst.. give it a miss altogether.

So go gorgeous and smell heavenly.
