When I stepped in the theater to see this one, I had set minimal expectation. There is this knack of enjoying Bollywood movies; you don’t expect anything from it at all.

It would be good to start with a statement that I scarcely try to entertain myself by watching whatever comes out of the industry called as Bollywood, with a few exceptions; in general I have lost faith in the industry. Then you’d ask why I cared to enter for this one, just because I needed something which would be devoid of sense, logic, justification, reason, or purpose.

That sets the premise, when my friends suggested this idea of going for this one, just the ‘power’ful combination of two big guys interested me, Dharmendra and Sunny Deol. Considering the amount of irritation and annoyance he caused, I think the name of Bobby Deol can be taken in noticeable characters.

I never knew Anupam Kher, and Kulraj Randhawa starred in it too. As it turned out, by just mere presence on screen, Kulraj made the movie a whole lot better. When she is on screen, you’d not even notice, what-his-name Bobby Deol dancing around her.

Anupam Kher enters post half time and then the actual humor starts. It so happens that Sunny Deol is now residing in Canada, with his mother and his Canadian wife. His father Dharmendra had run away from his mother, taking his younger brother along. Since that time thirty years have passed and now his mother forces him to go to India in search of them.

By that time Dharmendra and his son Bobby have become top class swindlers and thieves in city of Banaras. Just the day Sunny arrives in India, he finds them. Dharmendra refuses to acknowledge the relation but Sunny persists. If you have interest now, go have a look.

I have not revealed any sections of the story until now.If you want to organize the movie in sections, then first half is the Bobby endurance test, made a little easier by presence of the extremely gorgeous Kulraj. Second half can be called as a comedy flick. Remember what I said earlier, it has no sense whatsoever, no sense in dialogues, or the action; but the way these dialogues are delivered is worth a mention.

Even in second half, Kulraj continues her duties of salvation angel, taking us smoothly out of the mess these three Deol guys do. In addition Mukul Dev as her brother adds few more icing on the cake.I think, I can never understand the basic purpose of these movies, I mean; this one had no purpose whatsoever.

After seeing it, only your pockets are lighter but in return you don’t get anything worth it. Even the music department sucked big time. Let alone the first song was worth a listen once, I don’t even remember the rest of the pack.If not completely waste of time, I’d not recommend a theater watch for the same.

Rent a DVD or borrow, see Mukul, Kulraj, Anupam Kher, and turn off your DVD player.P.S.: Saw a trailer of Bhindi Baazaar, Piyush Mishra and K K Menon, together second time. Waiting for the same...
