+++ Laugh, laugh and laugh... Enjoy +++. Review on Yamla Pagla Deewana

I feel great writing the review for this movie after viewing the First day screening at the PVR, Chandigarh on 14 Jan 11.

The scene of the movie starts with Black and White videos of old Hindi movies in which mothers are `obsessed` with loosing her children due to various accounts like the village/town fair, railway station , or picked up by some notorious elements and story goes on and certainly ends with a happy note every time.

The story of this movie too picks up the same line but with the great Trio of Dharmendra , Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Hence the ``punch of the three`` was much expected. They have almost justified their presence.

The story starts with a family living in Canada. The head of the family is Sunny Deol, a sardar and his wife is a `Gori mam` who is so `fearsome` for her husband but delivers Punjabi slang too well Rajeev_Vermacially `teri behen di....` lol This family has two cute sons which I truly adored. One of the son says, ``I love you, papa`` the other son says , ``Dittoo`` to his father. sunny lives with his mother who `left` her husband Dharam ji because of some dirty habits. Dharam even `steals` one of the son when it was just two months old. Now Sunny searches for his father dRajeev_Vermarately. My husband @rajesh.sinha saw him googling at his white Apple lappie using the name `Dharam` as a search tag.

Some how, Sunny comes to know that his father is in Banaras. Sunny promises his mother that he would bring his father and his brother back to Canada and leaves for india.

You all will LOVE an `item song` here...``isq kaa manjan`` . I could see your star writer looking at the song without taking the breadth and eyes wide open..lol. After the song was over he told me that Bobby was wearing the same Ray Ban which he uses.

Here again an interesting scene of a jewelary shop from where Dad -son duo (Dharam and Bobby) deceive the shopkeeper for Rs 15 lakhs worth of jewelary. You will laugh a lot on their tricks. Meanwhile Sunny gets deceived by Bobby for Dollar exchange. Here also you have chance to laugh. Bobby used Hero Honda Splendour ( info by.....). Also the Canon DSLR camera for the would be girl friend of Bobby. I do not know her name, but she is sweet as my husband too said it once.

Bobby applies all the tricks including gifting her a kilo of bringles. These all impressing a girl scenes will be laughable to most of you for sure. Meanwhile my hubby mentioned the `Pringle` made white T shirt on Sunny. He looked assertive in this.

Now a scene of a local beer bar... you have many such scenes involving consumption of liquor. I liked one dialogue of Dharm ji , ``Iss dunia mein aaye ho toh aisa kaam karo ki harek gali se aawaz aye, Abba abba ,`` One more from him when he was confronted with the shopkeeper and his goons, ``Elaaka toh kutto kaa hota hai sheron ka nahin, aisee dhulai karunga kee na dawaa kaam karegi naa dua.``

One dialogue from Bobby to his brother when he was climisht by his brother at the same beer bar.. ,``Insaan galtiyon kaa putla hai, jaisa bhee hun, tera bhai hun, maaf kar de please.`` To `get` his father and brother Sunny too joins his group. There are some impressive and funny fight scenes from none other than The Sunny Deol. wait a minute... my husband noted Cafe Ganges with Wi Fi facility and Sunny doing video call with his mother Canada using the laptop.

One more `item song` and I loved the way the Trio danced..seemed like another `munni`. meanwhile the love affair continues between Shahiba (pdiganta_b hee thaa !!). A dialogue from Dharam, `` Beta aish kaar but isque maat kar, barbaad ho jayega``.

I found a scene very romantic when Bobby who is eating chana and her girl friend Shahiba in a cute white dress holds his hand and do some romantic talks. Suddenly he was beaten by her two brothers and she is taken back to Punjab...... Intermission.

Now, both the brothers reach Punjab ( Bobby with full sardar attire) to deal with the situation, Punjabi style. They project themselves as NRI as the Shahiba`s brothers are obsessed with marrying her with an NRI only. The role of Big B is nicely done by Anumam Kher. But, it so happens that he decides to marry Shahiba with Sunny Deol as in the English test he spoke better and seemed more suitable.The English Test session is too funny.

Bobby says that he would take away Shahiba and the thing will be alright. But things get complicated and even Dharam ji and Sunny`s family reach one by one. in between the theme song of YPD happens and the video is indeed colorful. You will love the picturization of the song. My husband found the lady `Sheela` song `paisa vasool`...lol.

As with a typical bolywood movie, things get settled at the end. But my husband could not stop observing Tata Indigo Manza car in the last scene.. oops.

Recommended for one time watch.
