Hi there this is Shaney Ahmad sharing with you my personal experience ont his Yamaha Saluto 125, well it has been 5 months since I purchased this bike and I often like Yamaha bikes but I don't know what happened with this one. Sorry but totally a pathetic one excluding mileage.
Talking about the mileage yea it is fair enough, gives about 50-55 km/l. Even in city it gives about 48-50.
In Comfort level this bike don't deserve to be in the list. Really Tiring when you drive for an hour. The seat arrangement is very poor and even poor is the Handling of the bike. The whole body back really pains.
In 5 months I have taken this bike to service centre 3 times, dont know what happens with the engine when it gets heat up it stops every 15 min or so.Self start doesn't work when you dont use it for 5-6 hour. If I have to travel for a Long trip I will never choose this one, never. It is not a Reliable bike at all.
The Road Grip is very Bad guys. In monsoon I have Slipped many times on the road, and many times on the smooth road. When you turn on curvy roads the tire Grip is very low and Risky.
My Appeal to you friends is that if you have to pay this amount then pay on some other bikes of Yamaha or of other brand. Don't go with this.
