Its been 5 years now since I became a proud owner of a Gladiator ( which still sounds better than new name Ss125) . I bought the bike after reading reviews on this same website and boy, how i've loved each & every moment of this journey with my Glady. Sorry i'm bit late in posting a review over here. After having ridden for 5 years & 80000 odd kilometers, my Glady still looks like new and still gives me average of 53 kmpl in south mumbai traffic! Only thing I didnt like in This bike was its puny rear tyre. So I had got it changed to tubeless 18-100 MRF Nylozapper Q by about 42k. Apart from regular seriving, I hardly had to do any mechanical work.
SS 125 is probably the best bike in the entry segment with superb pickup, reliabilty & good average. Somehow I dont know yamaha didnt or couldnt promote this bike well.
I would recommend this bike to each & everyone who wants a bike for daily commuting with amazing pickup with excellent average & reliable counterpart on weekend long rides
