## Yamaha Ray ZR ##
Joining the likes of Fascino and Alpha models, Yamaha has come up with a new 110cc scooter, Cygnus Ray ZR. The scooter is aimed primarily at the male buyers and shares platform with Ray-Z. The 113cc Blue Core engine has been borrowed from Fascino which comes mated to a CVT
Targeted at the male buyers, the scooter has been given a muscular treatment. Some of the highlights of the design are the sculpted front, alloy rims, black exhaust, reworked head lamp in front, a new instrument cluster, sharp lines on the side panels and large tyres. Dual-tone colour theme and body graphics add to the funky look. The tapering seat comes with a grab rail for support.
Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR Engine Specifications & Transmission
Ray ZR uses a 113cc, 2 valve, air-cooled, single cylinder engine with Blue Core technology. Outputting 7bhp and 9Nm, the engine comes paired to a CVT transmission.

Features such as new instrument console, handle bars, large seat, 21 litres under storage space, body graphics, grab rail, exhaust, redesigned head lamp, sharp lines on panels, side stand, tubeless tyres etc are available on the scooter.

Weighing just 103 kg, the scooter has a high power to weight ratio implying high fuel efficiency and decent performance. As per ARAI, the scooter can return 66 km/l in standard conditions.

Drum units are used in front and rear, but there is an option for disc brake in front on the top-end variant of Cygnus ZR.
