Hello
today my review is all about Yamaha Ray z. My friend used this scooter since 2014 when it was launched. He used it for daily commuting purpose. Actually that time he was looking for a mid range bike so then one day me and my friend went to Yamaha show room for bike but when we were entering the showroom that time I was noticed this beauty. I was told to my friend before taking any decision lets ride this one. So we were taking ride of this scooter one by one and both were same felling and same words about this scooter. My experience is amazing about this scooter really it too good for everyone. So till my friend thanks me for my decision for made him happy since last 2 years.
What I like about Ray Z
- Comfortable scooter even I can say best in its class according to me,
2.Great handling which is amazing best its in class because I had an activa and rode other scooter also but Yamaha Ray gives me confidence on road when it comes to turning small radius due to its small handles
3, Very nimble for riders not so bulky for new riders specially for the women, children or aged persons
4.Good style, Nice designs, best attractive looks in its class.
- value for money, happy with your spending money
What I don't like
1.Fuel consumption. if it is little bit higher then become competitor in this segment
2.Seats are comfortable but they are very small if you are a big guy or small family then every time you need to adjust with your sitting positions.
3.Need more powerful engine because if your are using it for long ride then it may be harmful for this engine but daily purpose use it is best in class
4.need more space for leg room specially for big guys
My experience is really good when me & my friend was touring daily in city, no problems with handling because it is so nimble when we were riding hope the other also felling same as we were. But here is a problem that when we took it for a long ride it seems that " yeah scooter thaak gaya hai rest dena padhega" due its less power of engine. Fuel consumption is also moderate depends on your riding, because we get around 47 kmpl ans some one get 43 kmpl, so this not a fault in engine it depends on you only. Because this one made for daily use as much as you can. He had already done 17000 kilometer just 2 years as on normal usage because Yamaha made a very reliable and amazing scooter for Indian consumers.
I recommended this scooter for new rider specially children, women, aged people or who want a new scooter for them or collage goer's.
