Hi guys, Mayb u guys know abt it but I just wanted to share this info. Well if get spare time, try doing this. There is a plate which covers the clutch plates and holds them using screws. Now try either of the following..... 1. Just drill 2 holes in the covering plate and put the plate back on or 2. Increase the dia of the existing holes(Which I did when I put new plates). Of course now close everything, do not forget to put the oil back in and ride ur bike.....u will find a good difference on the grip of the clutch plates and the quick transmission of all the force from the engine to the tyre . This is very useful for pickups and even during normal high speed running u can be sure that there is no loss of energy by slippin of the clutch. The concept is that if u give less restriction for the oil in betwen the clutch plates to escape then the clutch plates will be in more contact with each other. Thus providing u with more plate grip. As far as engine heating is concerned I would say u do not need to worry as it hardly makes a noticeable difference. Try this and let me kno ur opinion. C u later !
