First of all my sincere greeting to all mouthshut members.I thank to god that he gave me chance to try some of best indian Motorcycles RX 100 is one of them. Its a dream of every youth that one day he will get his dream machine as Bike is resolution of a persons, his attitude and its also a status symbole among his group. I was also thinking same before getting my Maroon colour Rx 100 in 1994 and believe me its more than what I dreament for.Now I will try to share my honest review on this machine. 1. Asthetics and Looks: The looks are simple but impressive Its three console meter built for odo, ignition and turn indictors was beautifully crafted over round head lamp.Fuel tank was small and well aligned with seat which is nothing less than sofa in terms of comfort.Tyre front 2.50 and rear 2.75 mounted on 18 inch wheels. Its fully cromed silencer and its sound was unique I should say is unique till date how can you forget sweet muffed exhaust beat. 2. Engine and performance: Its was having fantastic kit in all respest.98 cc two stroke engine was empowered by 11 BHP.Its flat torque curves were promises for instant power Delivery in any gear.Gear shifting and handling was superb. 3.My experience with bike: When I purchased this bike in 1994 till now one thing is sure that It make its presence where ever I go, People and other bikers give regard to this machine. since my purchase I was aware that I have become a proud owner of a machine who has created standards of performace so I kept it with due care and love.It is my companion of all my sorrows and happiness when ever I felt alone I take out my bike and just went out without knowing destination it gives me inspiration to go ahead in any circumstances with out crying. I have driven it on high speeds max I touched 110 km/hour and most of the time I enjoyed riding on low RPM.One thing I can say surely that No one can match the snappy power Delivery and lump of RX 100. I am agree that Shogun is also fast but friends can anyone compare the performance, Engine sound and vibrations at different speeds. Its a low maintenance bike mine has crossed over 73000 km and not touched engine and clutch plates. One fine day RX 100 had to prove its snappy power delivery and performance at the old age of 15 years with 73000 kms.My brother who is fan of P180 said Brother you live in Dreams RX 100 is nothing but a piece of metal who just make noise.I was very disappointed with his comments that how can he say this for this old Legend. I asked my bike to prove himself again and he said yes.We went on Free road and Competetion was between Pulsar 180 clocking 6000 in ODO and RX 100 15 years old Technology done 73000 kms.We decided to Race 100 Meters for 3 sprint.ONE TWO and THREE a Loud roar and RX 100 took Lead my brother eat smoke of it Three Times. He said sorry for his behave for RX 100 and now He is a big fan of It.Long Live Rx 100 3. Competition and Rivals: There was a nice competition between RX 100, KB 100 and Shogun. All are good bike and I respect all but Yamaha was always having its flag High due to Low Maintenance and Powerful clutch and Piston, I also own KB 100 which is most styled and stable bike but clutch work was not a benchmark, Shogun asks to replace piston on every 20000 kms but certainly a good bike but not Touched the cult status of Yamaha Rx 1oo. I have imotional attachment with this bike and Its mirror of my personality. It gives message to live and go ahead in any circumstances and feeling of Lets try competition any day. Thanks to all readers if I missed something would like to say sorry as this was my first Review. If you want to see picture of My bikes RX100, RX 135, KB 100, PULSAR 180.please visit Mouthshut Gallary and please rate review and your comments on this bike and review Regards Pankaj Sarswat
