A bike launched which lived up to 25 years  and still lives in the minds of bike lovers , broken records created by all Indian bikes , still satisfies the people and ready to go. The Yamaha rx 100-the biking legend. When I was born, my dad brought Yamaha rx 100. He used it to go to office regularly which is 12kms away from stay. I remember those days I used to go with him for shopping , cinemas and for everything. Its sound rocks, I use to release the throttle regularly when my dad kick starts it. Really my dad hates it but he loves me and his bike.

Time passed.

I went to mechanical engineering at the age of 19, and I have seen lots of bike in the garage . I got the license and I was not suppose to take my bike to college because my dad needs it. Any way I recommended a newbike to my dad, that’s the pulsar 200. After a lots of arguments my dad decided to buy p200 for me. I use to go regularly to college with my 200. It’s a bike with good looks compared to others in the market. After 2 years of usage when I was climbing over a hill top near ponmudi (a high hill range area). The engine got jammed at the top of the hill and the gear got stuck that I cant even manage to step down to neutral so that I can reach to any of workshops. I suffered terribly my friends helped a lot to get to neutral but the bike didn’t . I cant say the state of mind I had at that time. My friends use to tease me by –saying that a bike with 200cc cannot climb a hill. At last my friend managed to provide a workshop man he with the help of his tools somewhat managed to get it to neutral.

Next terrible problem it resists to start. After so many dramas the bike was ultimately brought to bajaj deedi service centre. They carelessly took my bike and they said it had an engine and gear box assembly problem that it need to be replaced immediately. I was stunned to hear it even I shouted at the bajaj service manager. I wasted a lot of lots of money and my precious time. Finally I approached my dad and he said if you're not interested then sell it and he said nothing because of my ego I brought this bike.

Sold at a cheap 25000rs again a big loss of money. Seeing my desperation, my dad said if you want my Yamaha then have it but under condition you have to regard this bike as how you regard yourself. My mom supported me for this. It was taken for retest after 25 years and it looks as a brand new bike . I can’t say my experience, truly amazing it goes like a comet. I thought how foolish I am in buying a bike p200 when I am having a legend nearby.

I ported it and bored and put oversize piston and imported boy seen reed fiber reed valves changed bigger carb, used yezdi tyres for better comfort, ready to challenge all the new generation bikes.
