It started its journey in 2008. the flagship model R15 which is carrying the dna of yamaha R1, according to the indian market requirements this bike was introduced with a 150cc engine, with 19.3 PS. this bike comes with disc break on both the wheels, no ABS, tyres are tubeless which run for around 10000 kms, its top speed is 138-144 kmph. fuel efficiency 30-35 kmpl. tank capicity around 12lts. with fuel pump equipped. according to me the major problem in the bike is that its handle positionong and the seat height because of it the arms start paining after a couple of kms, it is more suitable for people with less height and not for height ed people as the riding position of the bike is little different so the legs of tall people cant actual adjust on the bike and the bike looks like a pocket bike for the taller people. and the rear seat positioning is high usually people find it difficult to sit on it and the pillion rider doesn't even have anything to hold while riding n so he she has to hold the rider and the weight of the pillion falls on the rider so its a bit uncomfortable to ride this bike with a pillion, and the rear seat hard the pillion gets annoyed of it while touring as it is hard. but this bike over all is good to ride in weekends where there is less traffic.
