This is balaji. I am from chennai. I am looking to get a new bike. I currently own a Pulsar 180 of 2005 model.

THIS IS NOT THE REVIEW OF R-15. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO QUERY ABOUT MY DOUBTS. SO THOUGHT TO DO THIS HERE... The only factor that makes me to hesitate to choose R-15 is that the after sales service from Yamaha India.

Few of my friends who own Libero and Gladiator are facing problems in the service centers of yamaha. They were satisfied only after getting their bikes to a local mechanic. But for R-15 thats not possible. I guess it will take years for our local mechanics to understand this machine.

Also the question that arises in my mind is "When the indian made Liberos and Gladiators have problems with service how come the Indonesian imported R-15 machine will be treated by these service engineers?".. Could you kindly let me know how is the service from yamaha now? Because investing a lakh on the bike and getting it screwed by the service engineers is the horrible thing that can happen.

THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE IN HEARING MY QUERY.
