Yamaha YZF R15 2.0 review. After rumoured sucess of yamaha yzf r15 you'll be disappointed to of the yamaha r15 v2. Its a 150 cc bike, with single cylinder. It has a 6 speed gearbox 6 gears .
It is a very sexy bike only for look but for the comfort its not that good. I own both r15 v1 and r15 v2, the v2 has a longer wheelbase than v1 and yamaha has increased the power of v2. Yamaha r15 v2.0 has more stability in the corners compared to the old version r15.
Even in the traffic its much easier for v2 to perform. Its a very supersport bike but then there are some disappointments. Obviously because of the weight distribution on the front the rider will feel more weight on their hands specially when they are moving in more traffic as well as under hard or harsh braking.
Also the pillion rider will feel more uncomfortable because of the higher seating. It takes more effort to mount on the bike when the pillion sits on the bike he or she will have to bend a little bit . it means long rides will become very uncomfortable.
Well other than that the bike is pretty much impressive. Yes its not a 250 cc bike but we are really very very happy with it. It has a mileage[average] of 36kmpl to me. the company gives an average of 40 kmpl.
According to the bike yamaha has plotted it with a higher price [1, 30, 000 showroom price mumbai bhandup Hwest].owever it is a good bike for city not for long rides. Compared to the new cbr 150r it is not that much comfortable.
It has an aggressive look and aerodynamics.
