A powerful Yamaha street bike Yamaha MT-09 was unveiled in India in the Auto Expo 2016 by its Brand Ambassador John Abraham on 4th February 2016. It took around two years to arrive in India since it was launched in 2014. Its price in Indian Rupees is 10, 20, 000 which says its power.
It is characterized by 847 cc three cylinder liquid cooled engine with a power of 113 bhp at 10, 000 rpm and with a torque of 87.5 Nm at 8500 rpm. It is supported by sports traction control system functioning at two separate riding modes. Obviously it has a tremendous pick up as all Yamaha bikes are known for pick up. This bike will soon appear in show rooms of the country towards end of this month and soon will run on Indian roads. However, its fuel consumption may not be that good considering at its power.
