I hav a 2 month old Gladiator,It has covered more than 1500 Kms.Before 1st service I used to get over 55Kmpl.After the service I think i'm getting around 40Kmpl to 50 Kmpl. After 1000 kms,i am going on optimum speed.Still i'm only getting this much.According to me,Gladiator is a good city bike and not good for a long distance drive because you start aching your back after 25Kms.My bike is having a problem with cold start. After starting when you put the 1st gear, the bike will jerk and sometimes turn off automatically. The clutch is not fully disengaged.I have shown to the authorised service center, but still no use. There service is an utter floop.I think the rear tyre and its rim should have little more width, because from back it looks boring(big bike with small tyres)and it skides when you go on roads where lose sand is there.I am not getting the initial power as the company is telling. The pick up is really bad for a bike having 11Bhp.I had starting troubles when I start the bike during early morning, but after I took it to the delears they managed to fix it.Now there is a new problem that chain is getting loose and there is gear slipping. The only thing I like is the 5-Speed gear and the smooth ride it gives. It has a good running speed.

According to me the negatives stands out most,so be carefull before buying, better you go for Discover, because its more stylish and reliable. The fuel efficiency is far betterthan the Gladiator.Good initial pick up.Good handling and comfort ride. The only thing is it has only 4-speed gears. But still u can get into race with 150cc bikes in the city.I don't know much about Honda Shine and the new Glamore. But my choice is Discover or if u can spend more money ,then its better to go for Pulsar 150,you'll get 25 cc extra with disc brakes and 5-speed gears.5th gear ensures you extra mailege and and speed.

TIPS:In the case of cold start,

1)try to keep the bike in the 1st gear when you stop for a long break,When u take the bike after 5 or 6 hours hold the clutch and try to move the vehicle in the gear itself.1st it will not move after that,it'll start to move, then kick start in gear itself.

2)Another method is to keep the bike in centre stand and start.after starting you put the 1st gear (Bike should be in center stand),then the tyre will rotate evenif the clutch is not released. Now take the bike of the stand and you can start your journey.

3)Another method is after starting in neutral, put the 2nd gear first, then shift it to 1st.

Try to use petrol having good octain value like Xtra premium, Speed etc..
