Hi

I have just bought the bike and still registration not yet over.

I have read reviews and know wat people expect from reviews

If you expect mileage, riding experience or some practical experience from this review please dont read it.This is just some mileage calculation that I worked outfor people who compare gladiator with pulsar for mileage and feel gladi is good

I am also aware gladi is a 125cc bike and pulsar is a 150cc bike

I live in Banglore,

My calculations are pessimistic (that is wat I feel)

consider I travel 40 km per day and my bike gladiator gives 40kmpl(i hope this is the worst case) and considering fuel price is rs55 per litre

40km * 30 days=1200 km

1200km per month/40kmpl=30 litres per month

30litres per month*55rs per litre=rs1650 per month

consider pulsar (which I feel could be best in this area)

pulsar say 55kmpl same 40 km per day fuel rs55 per litre

1200 km per month travel

1200km per month/55kmpl=21.81 litres per month

21.81litres per month*55rs per litre=rs1200 per month

rs1650-rs1200=rs450

so rs450 per month u incur more

pulsar on road price here is(my friend told me )=64000(approx)

gladiator on road price here is =52000(approx)

rs64000-rs52000=12000

so 12000 diffrence between these two

rs12000/rs450=26.67months

so u need to wait nearly two years two months to reap the benefit of u r investment in pulsar(provided pulsar gives u the same mileage after two years)

All the data provided above may or may not be true so please do not make me responsible for providing wrong data

This is just a calculation that I worked outconsidering only mileage other factors I did not consider

I am not degrading pulsars in any way ,This is just for people who feel gladi is better than pulsar and worried about the mileage.pulsar is a great bike and has its advantages

I do hope that gladi gives out better mileage this is just the worst case I hope,As I said I just bought the vehicle and not ridden it.

P.S I have given product rating as it is a compulsary field .Since I still havent experienced the product please ignore it.
