I purchased my gladiator type ss in may 2008 & have clocked around 15000kms on it till date. I won't b going into the technical details of this bike but will narrate my experience. I wrote a review on my bike shortly after purchase when it was just 600kms old. So, now I will give you a true picture of what this bike is as I hv ridden it 15000kms.

When I wanted to purchase a bike in 2008, I didn't hv any brand in my mind. My whole idea b4 purchasing a bike was to get a bike for notorious street racing wid good cornering ability & precision in breaking as I am a race fanatic. At that time, this bike was new to market & some of my friends asked me not 2 get this bike as yamaha was going thru hard times in those days in terms of sales. I went 4 a test ride of this bike & I was damn impressed by the cornering ability & stability at high speeds of this bike.

I purchased this bike the very next day. Initially I used 2 feel low on pickup but I am getting enormous power frm this bike since I did 10000kms. It has become a real beast. My bike overtakes the other 125cc bikes like a breeze when I hear their engines crying. I think racing wid other 125 ccs in no more a fair game. My bike now needs 135-150cc bikes in competition. But it looses out on top speed being 105-110kmph against 115-120kmph on 150 cc bikes. Well racing on Indian streets is more about pickup, cornering & faith on bike which I have from this bike. Now don't start the same old story of crying after mileage.

Well I m getting 40-45kmpl in my riding but I don't care bcoz I need power & performance rather than mileage. But granny style riders can still manage 55-60kmpl. This bike is damn smooth workhorse even on long distances at high speeds. I went from Delhi to jaipur 280kms at 80-90kmph speeds wid just two stops. The bike didn't complain of any overheating, noisy engine etc which is often seen especially in pulsars. All this wid a history of irregular servicings since I did 9000kms. Well that was abt my bike. Some people do get electricals & mileage problems wid gladiators but I hv seen more happy customers of gladiator than any other 125cc bike.
