I bought Yamaha Gladiator SS red & black on 28th May 2008 @49600/-. Since then i've logged 1100 kms including 1st servicing @586 kms.
Pros:
Great experience of riding especially in top gear on highways. Gear shifting is really very smooth. Nicely balanced bike. This bike is cynosure at parking lots. Very powerful bike with no vibrations at all & it has a very effective braking system.
Cons:
Before 1st service, i observed a mileage of 55kmpl & after servicing it was 57 kmpl. But recently it dropped to 51kmpl. I observed that the rear wheel is not revolving smoothly (even in neutral at main stand) as if there is some friction which is not allowing the wheel to rev smoothly. I've tried to rev the wheel on main stand in 5th gear, but then too when the wheel was allowed to rev on rolling in neutral, it stopped quickly.
What I want to know is that whether it is because of wide chain of Glad SS or something else?
But overall I liked the bike & yesterday one of my colleague also bought the same bike.
