I would not call this a review actually and there are no specifications written in this since there are lot of such reviews already posted by fazer owners. This is about my 9210 kms experience on my yamaha fazer.

I owned two pulsars in past. The first round headling model which I sold and got myself a DTSi and now the fazer.

Its been above a year that I got my fazer now and I must say I never got myself a bike which felt like it was made to order for me.

I am abt 5"5 inches tall and have pretty broad shoulders. When I first heard about the yamaha r15 and saw it on yamaha's website I was sure I would buy it. When I saw R15 in real I was kind of disappointed. Too low and tiny for a guy like me. I turned my eyes towards the Fazer.

Comparatively a large motorcycle with very muscular looks, powerful pickup and excellent handling. According to me the fazer has the most beautiful Fearing amongst all Indian bikes.

The Aerodynamic shape of this bike makes speed or even moderate driving more comfortable, safe and fun. This also helps on windy days and while driving on highways.

The fazer comes with a hang up hook under the seat which can be used to hang a bag. I loved this idea. I never wanted to have a ugly looking hook visible on my motorbike.

Fuel consumption is fairly reasonable looking at the capacity and weight of this bike. Fazer comes with tubeless tires and my tyres haven't been punctured ever since I bought it.

I have had three long trips on my fazer so far (Each worh 500 Kms to and fro on an average) and no problem whatsoever.

If you are planning to buy the fazer I would ask you to go ahead, you will not regret your decision.

Please consider that

1) The weigh of a fazer is about 141.8 kgs. If you are too lean you may have troubles getting the fazer back up if it falls.

2) You will get a consistent 36-45 Kmpl if you keep your fazer healthy.

3) This is a touring bike and the engine doesn't heat up very easily. However for long rides you should give it a small break if you can to keep the engine healthy

4) Spare's are expensive compared to bajaj and honda. Use original spares...its worth it.

5) Most importantly: Enjoy your fazer. Go on the streets, highways and places you always wanted to visit on a bike. Have the fun for which the fazer was designed.
