My Fazer delivered . Review on Yamaha Fazer

Not good in Fazer – Price, Mud guard – Its given for a very small length, hence when my wife sat behind me, all the water was splashed on her back – Hence not suitable to take your GF’s or wives when its raining – Do keep this in mind else your date would end up in mess - however if u extend the mudguard the bike loses its rear look

My experiences with Fazer – I booked my fazer – blue colour on 23rd July and I received the bike on 3rd sep – close to 41 days waiting period. It was delivered in the evening at around 8:00 PM by the dealer and some goodies were also provided like Yamaha Cap signed by John Abraham + a scratch card in which I could win a cash prize of Rs 1001 (If u r lucky u can even win a trip to Thailand).

That day I drove for close to 100 Kms and was still not in a mood to park the bike in shed overnight. I was just gazing at the bike till 12 midnight after which I slept. The next day I had parked the bike on a road which had slight slope of course with side stand. Suddenly it slipped and fell on the left side ------ ooops I thought that this is the end of the story and I will have all kinds of problems……..

However, there were some scratches on the side faring on which its written fazer – others were not that much visible…. Then I started searching for a Yamaha showroom which sells blue colour fazer faring (small part on the side). When Yamaha blue bikes are not available on time, how can you expect the dealers to have spares ???? ------ Uuuuufff it was such a tension for me and then finally I found a showroom in lalbagh road where I could get the part. It was really good to know that the part costs only Rs 320…

hhhhhh what a relief I immediately got it fixed on the bike and started feeling good…..what a bike man its awesome. The beauty of this bike is that wherever there is a dent, only that part is available separately at a nominal price. If it was other bike, then we should have got the entire faring replaced at a high cost. Well do u guys know something…….the tank of fazer is a virtual one, the real tank is inside……..All fiber parts and hence makes this bike feel lighter……..

One more good thing is regarding the minor differences between FZ and fazer. In fazer the handle and seats are lifted up a bit. When we ride a fazer, it makes u feel like u r on some big mountain shouting your name…………Well its all my imagination……u will get to know more only when u ride the bike……… Overall a very good bike not to worry on mileage becoz its not a big concern when u buy such a bike (Approx around 43 km/ ltr)………
