Years ago, I was just a commuter and maintained my Yamaha gladiator with No thrills , and zero fun..

Even in the time of service, i used to pester the service station boys to correct the bike for.mileage, cleaning and issues like break cable and oil and stuff like that.

Just never much inspired with performance, biking ego, speed, drag and etc. But little I knew that my boring days are numbered. At a top Bangalore Yamaha showroom, i saw a guy with a noticeable dress code, wearing a thick metal bracelet, well built and bit short, came with his mother and trying to buy a Yamaha R15. I wanted a conversation, went near him and my first question is, why you want an R15? His eyes were sparkling, started telling me the story that happened in the morning...He said he is a owner of pulsar 200.and modified it and made it more powerful.

Being a drag racer he has a habit of overtaking any and every bikes passes by.Then that morning he encountered an R15 and as usual started overtaking, which was not just happening...The more he tried the bad he was behind, sooner that overtaking exercise became a fight..he was deeply hurt and gave up..because Yamaha R15 was just unbeatable..

And within hours of that incidence, he was with his mother buying an R15. I started realizing the other side of biking. That's not just ending with office going, but much beyond that. Since then, I drove.my bike for.longer kms crossed winds, rains, thunderstorms, and fell many times, finally to stand up and tell you that, me a biker..!

Here, my take.on the real bull called Yamaha fazer..

Looks always deceive...and this one machine is a looker, and regarded as a best looking one around the world.Just because of its very hep appearance, many will think its a costliest one to own...

You will be respected immediately as fazer brings positive high society feel to anyone who rides her.

Ok..the deception part...the performence....This bike has a heart transplanted with a 153 cc.engine, because of its early torque, you could feel the quickness and bullish attitude of fazer, but, there is a but...that is about performence limitations.

1.This machine is purely fit for a class that is white collared...well cultured..

Someone who is interested in showing off, with smooth and powerful touring, weekend leisure meetups...and part thereof.

2.This Fazer will let you down, if you use it for

Unruly drag races and rough and tough usage.

3.If you are the one who had no interest in education and struggled though your early college degrees, and unfocused, forget Fazer altogether.

Otherwise, its a conventional wisdom to pickup this and start going places...

Handling..

Any tourer machine should feel effortless, and Fazer is all about lightness. Its so light weight that you feel like gliding, its about four kgs heavier than fzs bike but does not at all feel like because, you just can not drag a bulldozer and calling it a tourer right? This one is feather weight, powerful enough to tour, with its dreamlike handling. Mark my words, take this bike to any conceivable distances and you will realize what I am trying to say.!

Showing off

Man!!!! My short time with this bike, made a lot of head turning. I was all along accelerating this bike in college campus, near cafe day, gym and places.Unless you tell the people this is 150 cc, no way they can make out.!!

And when you accelerate, all eyes will be upon you, and the fazer will jump and move. its a smooth and silent bike but not when you are accelerating. People who see you moving off will have no doubt that this is a mean bike, but Yamaha could have made it more powerful.
