HI YAMS !!!!

It's great to be back on mouthshut. I am a big yamaha fan and currently owns a 2001 RX-135 with proton exhaust chamber. I've always been a huge 2-stroke fan.

Their pick-up, sound, cool attitude are unmatched. Indian manufacturers seems to be least interested in making powerful bikes after the demise of 2-strokers like

RX-100 and RD-350. But, now, after the success of Karizma and Pulsar(all versions),

a ''DREAM TEAM'' is coming to India. Who will be the first to break the 250 c.c. barrier ? Let's see :--

1) YAMAHA FAZER :-

YAMAHA will bring the 22 bhp, 249 c.c. fuel-injected Brazilian YS250 Fazer. It will be launched between October 2006 to March 2007. It will be the biggest support for Yamaha to regain its lost glory.

2)BAJAJ PULSAR DTS-FI:-

The new bigger, faster PULSAR will support fuel injection, twin spark ignition, exhaust resonator, a new half-fairing, tank protector, latest clip-ones very short handlebars, projector beam, split seats, multi functional digital speedo etc. Bajaj has not specified the c.c. but the bhp will be 20 and it will be launched in june 2006.

3)HONDA CBX250 TWISTER:-

It will embark the quality of HONDA in India. It will be carburetted 249 c.c with 24 bhp. and will be launched in march 2007.

4)HERO HONDA KARIZMA UPGRADE:-

Karizma will be upgraded to 250 c.c. with 22 to 25 bhp. The compression ratio will be 9:5:1 or so (enough to kick some serious butt). It's launch date hasn't been estimated yet.

All these bikes will fare between Rs. 85000 to 1,25,000. That will decide the fate for each and every company.

So, who will take the credit to bring the first 250 ? Nobody knows. But one thing is for sure, that a DREAM TEAM is coming to make a real DHOOM IN INDIA.

JUST WAIT AND WE WILL HAVE A BUNCH OF ROCKETS IN OUR HANDS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
