Hi Everyone,
I owning a Fascino from March 2016, earlier I used to have 1st version of Activa which I used for more than 8+ years.
Activa was fine, except one prob that is front shocker, I have to adjust it in every service which was ok for only 1 month after the story is same. No permanent solution. this lead to lot of sound and fornt panel clips in handle gets broken/ loosen.
Hence, after 8 years when I decide to change it I decide not to go with such shockers for next scooter.
I test drive almost all the scooter except Mahindra Gusto as it was not available for Test drive.
Hero Maestro EDGE- Pros: Looks good, full of Gizmos, Everything was fine but average ride
Cons: Fiber Body, Highly use of Electric Gizmos, which is not suggestible for 2 Wheeler, size of Tyres not same for both front and rare wheel.
Hero Duet - same as Maestro, Pros: Metal body, Average ride quality, tyre size is same for both. Had shortlisted, but would like to try others as well.
TVS jupiter: Good Scooter, everything is perfect already use by Sister, so not to select same scooter. Only one Cons: Fuel indication is showing wrong, due to slant petrol tank.
Access 125 New launch: Fantastic ride Quality, bit higher in price, some how front & back it is vintage but from side it is normal. Shortlisted but also want to explore more scooters.
Yamaha Facsino: Pros: looks retro & curvy, Good fuel efficiency, Good pickup & power similar to Access 125, sitting posture is different as this feels me retro styling posture with good power & pickup so decided to go with Fascino.
Cons: Hand brake locking lever is missing, Fiber Body, Storage box is not Deep but length is longer as compare to other scooter, Allow wheel missing, Fuel meter is only for 2.5 Ltr after that it is reserve for rest 3 ltr
Please note: All the vehicles were test and tried by me & my wife.
till now happy with performance and Average getting 55 in City long driving & 45-50 in Short distance travels.
