The Fascino is the first lifestyle scooter that has been launched by Yamaha for the Indian market. The Fascino is mainly targeted at female riders, just like the Ray.
The overall design language of the Fascino is quite curvy and trendy, giving it a very distinctive look. The front fascia of the scooter is attractive and resembles its closest competitor, the Vespa LX 125. There is a small Yamaha decal on the front fascia, which gives a sporty look to the scooter. The Japanese manufacturer has dipped this scooter in chrome, to give it a premium look which interestingly doesn’t look over done. The side profile of the Fascino is nice with its fluidic creases and curves. The rear section of the scooter is quite quirky because of the black paint above the tail light. Yamaha should have filled that spot either by some kind of decal job or a 3D logo, just like the one on the side. The under seat storage is very good at 21-litres and can accommodate a full-face helmet.
