Finally my bike has completed 1 year, I am pretty happy with it. In 1 year there was not a single trouble or repair for my FZ. Apart from Oil Change I haven't spent a single rupee on anything else. I am really really impressed with Yamaha reliability. Only complaint might be mileage which is around 35-40 kmpl. But zero maintenance cost very much make up to it, its tension free bike, I dont have to keep worrying if something will go wrong or not. *

*Update After 1 month (May 27th)
Its been an month now Since I got the new bike. I travelled around 950 Kms now, Tomorrow I will be giving it for service. Have maintained below 5000 rpm as per manual instructions. Its been an pretty good experince till now with my bike.
Milage : 40-45 kmpl travelled below 5000 rpm. As I use car also milage is not an issue for me.
Engine Starter: I had been always worried what if Engine starter fails. Now I dont have such worries. Till today every time I started it has got started with single attempt. Even in morning I never switched on the Choke. Looks as if starter is almost fool proof. Feel one of the best enginer starters in India. When I have kept my bike for 3 days idle, it got started without a choke and with 1st attempt.
Road Grip: Its too good. I can do zig-zag without worry of falling down. Have done sharp turn at 60kmph with no hint of any skidding.
Horn: Many had commented horn is bit low. I feel its more than enough. Since if we have more sound most annoying thing will for us.
Pick up: Its amazing, can breeze through traffic. Since I havent done more than 5000 rmp. I will comment on full pickup after service.
Sitting Possition: Its a absolute no no, if your wife or gf is saree wearing. Since my wife is jeans wearing, no issues. Pillion rider should sit touching or sliding down the rider, if not pillion might not feel comfortable.
Gear Change: You can ride in 5th gear at 20 kmph. So its easy for city ride. Gear change is same as RX-100.
Ground Clearance: Cannot Jump steap Humps in doubles as it will hit the stand. During Single riding its not an issue.
Brakes: Excellent Disk brake. Just stops where you want. Since its one of the biggest disk brakes in india.

April 28th I got my FZ-S(Yellow/Black), as an surprise Aniversary gift from my wife. I had an Old RX-100 89 model before. Even though RX was a great bike, it took lot of effort when in doubles coz of its 100cc. Let me just explain how I feel about my bike in 2 days. Looks- Stunning looks, people on road just keep looking and asking me about the bike and in my office 1st day many collegues in office just kept watching the bike and enquiring me.One thing is sure you will be center of attention in the road if you has FZ. Pickup - High Torque bike, just too fast in intial pickup among the bike of its class. Still I am driving aroun 40km/hr since its run only 100kms now. Handling and Control - I never thought you will feel soo comfortable riding the bike. Maybe coz of its huge tyre and vehicle balance design. you can Zig-Zag your bike however you want and your bike will never slip or even you wont feel u will slip anytime. Mostly when you are riding doubles and stop at traffic lights if it was other bikes, pillon should keep the legs down or else rider will feel heavy blancing. Here yamaha has done it soo well. you wont feel even an hint of unbalance even when legs are on bike stand, somehow you will not feel the weight of pillion. sharp turns you can do as you like and at your speed, no chance of skidding anytime. One thing I found little disadvantage is, if there is sharp hump, and if you are riding doubles, bike bottom might hit the hump. You wont be able to jump humps with pillion. Low ground clearance might be due to the amazing balance of this bike. W I will write more of my reviews after few more days. RegardsShamanth
