I bought this bike on May5, 2014 and till my first service, the bike gave only 35-38 mileage after that my bike started giving a mileage of 45-48 km/pl. Always be careful about your engine oil.Synthetic oil is the best for fz-16.
You need to be patient for the first 1000kms of your distance and after than you can try going till 70 and once your bike has covered more than 1500 you can play with it. Never get your petrol tank dry. And always while riding the first few minutes 1-10minutes of ride must be not too fast. once a month go for a long drive like cover atleast 50-100kms. then your bike will defenitely give you 45-50 mileage after covering 2000kms. if you are not bothered about mileage then start playing with your bike once it has reached 1000kms. and this bike gives a cracking(tic tic) sound from engine, not be worried for that. overall, I feel it is better than Pulsar in the 150 segment.go for it.Tubeless tyre is also very comfy. not like the cheap pulsar.
