I got my Black FZ - 16 delivered on 26 November 2008 from the Yamaha Exclusive Showroom at Metropolitan Mall, Saket. It truly was a wait worth waiting for this machine. After the documentation was done I got to lay my hands on the All Black beauty standing in its full glory in the Lower Basement of the Mall.
The bike in the first look is a true attention seeker and the naked look clearly appeals to the generation X. The bike carries a refined engine mill with comparison only to Honda Unicorn in this case. The mono shocker provided works fine and lends enormous stability at the rear along with the broad tyres.
I have still not tested the acceleration and the power as the initial period of 1000 kms is still due. At present the bike is giving a mileage of 45 - 50 kms.
I will be writing the follow up review after the second service of the bike.
