Good in looks but verypoor in kmpl.
Yamaha has launched this bike at the right time when it was loosing its market share.
Braking
Front Disc Brakes give add up to the looks as well as they also help stop effectively. But at the same time you may feel that the Rear Drum Brake is too small in diameter and is really ineffective to effective hault at higher sppeds.
Dependancy on Front Discs may proove fatal(at times).
*Looks
*Looks are passionately aggressive and ever since its launch Yamaha Showrooms are flooded with youth. Earlier hardly any college student preferred a Yamaha. Today you see very second college going boy dreaming for this bike. Thats a good work done by YAMAHA team at Noida and Faridabad.
*Ergonomics
*Well placed lights and controls make this bike's handelling easy.Foot pedals are placed well in place tor a better seating posture. Meter pod is well illuminated and does not pinch the eye. Seat is locked with a key and has space to keep First Aid kit and Bike Papers underneath.- A feature that YAMAHA 350 used to have.
*Milage
*Poor. Tested in Delhi City .one tankful gets done in Rs500/- and in this tank ful you can rive FZ16 for 250 to 300 Kms.
Pricing
On Road 72000(approx) looks higher for a 150 cc bike that does not cross 110 mark on the speedometer but with the muscular looks and broad racing tyres and largest Disc Brake(in its category) You feel its is a worth buy.
*Would like
*This bike to be re-launched in 200cc+ versions also so that we may race it above 130 KMPH
