More Exprienced Review - FZ16- look and comfort. Review on Yamaha FZ16

(This review is not to  hurt or degrade anything. Its purely my personal opinion. If you have any deviations please comment it. I will correct it.)

HI I am Sathya Moorthy, I bought my new FZ-16 on oct-2011. Right now I rode 9000 Km. Mileage is 34 in city ride 41- 44 kmpl in highway . I have not raised the bike more than 5000 rpm. . These below statements are derived from my exprience. Every thing in your hand. If you have any concerns please give your comments. Suggestions are welcome.

Warning-:(Male Beauty)

1) Dont look this bike more than 10 seconds you will get addicted and you will purchase immediately.

2) Dont go for test ride if you have low budget and if you have fear on  bike maintenance . Sure you will buy this bike.

3) If you are able to overcome the above two points go ahead for futher review.

4) Still you are concern about mileage dont look at any thing go for bajaj discover and same range bikes.

5) I know you have read so many reviewes and you got a mindset on one bike. But stil you have to think. Now review of FZ starts.

First let me give the advantages:

1) Riding comfort and easy to turn in the traffic .

2) Looks good and loved by others

3) Engine is  hot for long rides but gives good pickup in first 3 gears.

4) front seat is good to ride but pillon is not having enough space.

5) now fz having crash guard, saree guard and foot rest along with kick start.

6) Rear tyre is good but very soft and will not suitable for rough roads. And needs more throttle twist to for pickup.

Drawbacks:

If you have obse person in your family dont go for this option. Because pillon seat is small

2) no rear disc break. drum break is not suitable for sudden breaking .

3) bike paint is so good but same time scratches are more when you maintain.

4) Chain maitenance is so pathetic.

5) You cannot have pillon ride for long time.

6) Bike is getting slow and no pickup when you have pillon rider even if you going in slope bridges its very  hard to pull up.

7) 4rth and 5 th gears are not that much effective. there are no much power to feel.

8) If you are having a girl friend or you are newly married then bike will create more closer relation ship tand reduce the family problems till pregnancy. If your father rides as a pillon rider then problem will create and he will definately curse you for this pillon seat. and he wont offer money for another bike. .:)

9) You have to search the place where non Sodden area in the road to ride the bike where if you are afraid of water service and chain maintenace lube price.:)

10) You have to turn back in the traffic signals since you have to afraid some one will hit your super designed silencer muffler if you are caring about the scratch free bike.

Caution:

1) Bike Stimulates you for Zig Zag riding since this is danger in the road .Because of  fatty rear tyre and bikes 13.6 low end torque. Some times you will complete the ZIG but not the Zag because of congestion in the traffic leads to silencer muffler crush.:) . Rare Scenario.

2) What ever may be adjustment you will done you will not get the clear light beam in the road which leads to hit in the bumpy roads so be careful.

3) First 1000 kilometer you have to ride slowly below 40 which is good for engine health and which is not good for our mental health seems like a ordinary bike.

Conclusion:

You can buy this bike without any hesitation. Even if you are using in highway it will go up to 80 to 90 without any issues. But still it made for street ride and city use. Every thing is okay with this bike.

You will come to know all+ves and -ves only if you buy a bike of you own. Please dont trust others feedback or others suggestions on riding comfort and engine power. Rest you can take it from others.
