The 2014 Yamaha FZ-S Version 2.0 is a Fuel injected bike with 149cc engine plonked into it. Yamaha has updated the bike with apparently under powered engine but due to the new "Blue Core Technology" and Fuel Injection System Yamaha claims not only better performance but better mileage also. The new FZ-S has new digital instrument cluster, new head light, split seats new tyres but with same size and redesigned exhaust muffler as updation.
Price of Yamaha Fz-s 2.0 is near about rs.80000 in Mumbai showrooms. That bike superb with 149 cc, air cooled with 4 stroke engine.
One day when I went to a Yamaha showroom I saw an Astral Blue FZ-S V2 showcased. The sculpted tanks and the Blue Core emblem caught my attention. On inquiring the sales person I got the details like 149cc engine combined with a 5-speed gear box producing raw power of 9.7kw/8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 12.8 N-m. The rear wide tire and the front 41mm hydraulic suspension were awesome and I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER.
