Yamaha FZ-S is a very fuel consumption sports bike because it gives the mileage of 53 km-pl. FZ-S Version 2.0 have commenced in metro cities. It was expected that with the launch of the new fuel-injected FZ-series, the old carburetted iterations would be discontinued but according to dealers the Version 2.0 will be an additional variant under the FZ family. The FZ-S Version 2.0 is priced at Rs 89, 000 whereas the FZ Version 2.0 is priced at Rs 76, 250(both prices ex-showroom Delhi). At this price point, the fuel-injected version is almost Rs 6, 000 dearer than its carburetted sibling. In terms of styling updates, the new Yamaha FZ and FZ-S Version 2.0 sports a split seats, restyled headlamp and tail lamp, tank extensions, new all-digital console and revised muffler.
