I am using FZS V2(2016 model) from last 6 months and already drove 6200 km, I believe now I am qualified to share my personal experience with this bike. Looks:- One of the best looking bike. Stylish and Masculine. Performance - It is really a great machine which is not only fuel efficient but highly reliable too. I took it on many long rides and every time I enjoyed a comfortable and smooth journey. Its performance amazed me on hilly and rocky roads for which south India is well known. Handling - Very impressive and controlled handling, wide handles ease the chances of back pain and also it gives a dignified look. Servicing - If you are going for servicing(Outside Yamaha) always use Yamalube engine oil which is used by authorized service centers. Else go for Legato Semi Synthetic 20W40, a semi synthetic oil, it will give your engine a smooth and cool performance. Pros:- Fuel efficient 46-48 kms/Lt Less engine noise Less maintenance required Very good handling Best performance under 70kmph on city rides as well as long drives Cons:- Less mileage on higher speed i.e. above 75-80. A little larger area required while taking a U turn than budget bikes. Summary - After long research for my first bike, within 1 lakh range it was my choice and yes it was a good decision.
