I bought my Enticer in the middle 2003. It cost me 59, 000 R.s on road in Bangalore. Back then everyone kept telling me to get a bajaj pulsar instead of this. But the moment I saw this baby in the showroom I knew that I wanted one.. I got a black enticer.

From day 1 I knew this bike was the right choice. Let me tell you a few things that I like about the bike.

The enticer has one of the best build qualities in India I have seen so far. My bike is about 7 years old and even today I'm running it on the first sprocket and chain set. No parts have rusted or faded! yes I do maintain my bike and get her washed and polished atleast once in 2 months.

All the eletrical still work fine. Even today the bike starts with a single kick in the mornings. The bike has one of the most comfortable seats! The rider has the best seat but the same cannot be said about the person sitting in the back. the pillion seat is small and tiny. Anyone over 5'8 will have a hard time sitting here during long rides. The maximum I have done is 800 Km in a single day and the bike did this with ease.

The Engine is still as good as new, Not a single oil leak from the engine or anywhere at all.

Even today I have kept her fully stock and she runs like a charm. And nothing is even rusted. Sometimes some people mistake this for a new bike and ask me how much did I buy it for. Now the only thing I don't like about the bike is the power. The Engine on this is a 125 cc 11BHP Yamaha YBX engine which isnt powerful enough. The bike runs out of steam at 100KPH. I also wish the bike had a 5th gear. They should have given this bike atleasst a 150-200 CC engine and a 5th gear.

Owning this bike has been very very easy and pain free. As of today the bike has clocked almost 30, 000 KM and given me no problems whatsoever. The only pain was the Yamaha A.S.S who are hopelessly bad. Once After a services they had forgotten to close up the crab properly and I had petrol leaking once I left the service station. Rushed back to the A.S.S with red eyes and spoke to the manager who promised to sort it out asap. After this I have never given the bike to the A.S.S,

Parts changed so far in the last 7 years

Spark plug (couple of times)

Air filter (couple of times)

Clutch, brake, Acc, Odometer cables.

Front fork seals,

Bulbs

Engine Oil every 6 months.

In the City I get 40-42 Km and about 45-47 KM in the highway, which isn't that bad. If Yamaha could bring the enticer back with a bigger more powerful engine I would surely buy one all over again.
