I bought Yamaha CruxR before 5 years and before that I was using scooter. Before buying Crux, I evaluated many bikes including Victor and Hero Honda BUT finally decided to buy Yamaha CruxR because of low maintenance. Before buying Yamaha I was very well aware that average would be lower than what others are giving.
Till date I am using it without any problems, I had maintenance problem just before 2 years and spent something around 1500 INR for that. Apart from that it runs smooth, yes average is not that so good. Even before expectation, when other are giving more than 70, I was expecting just around 60 but this gives only 50 KMPL. Which is not so good as they are claiming much higher than this.
Second is dealer for Yamaha in Ahmedabad is not so cooperative and it seems he is not even interested in running this business, service level is very poor. Workshop quality is not so good, its like big size road side garrage.
Now, when most of the bikes gives you fuel meter, this nike is not providing fuel meter. Second is silencer, it has silencer at right side and without any protection so if you run bike for continuous 40-50 Km it will catch up hit and it is harmful to person who is sitting in back seat and also for luggage.
