I have been using yahoomail from more then a decade now and my reviews about the service has also changed.
I started using it from 2004 and initially it was good, had very less spam and having decent interface compare to what we get now. From last few years I have been receiving too many spam mails(100 mails) a day and that sucks literally.
Today I opened my mail box after a week and found around thousands of unknown mails in inbox and hundreds of email in spam. I was literally having hard time finding a important mail in those bulk quantity of emails.
So I decided to write down a review about its spam filter which I don't really think works the way it should be. I also noticed they sell premium email service which allows you to have less spam and unnecessary emails that I think is their way of earning money, complete bullshit. I hope Yahoo looks into this concern so that they can also make free users happy.
Though their service is still good and is fast compare to gmail and hotmail but that means nothing if user is finding hard time looking for a relevant email. I may switch to another email service provider if they really keep on leaking our personal email id to advertising companies like this. Good Bye.:-(
