Well, this has been a much awaited film for all of us, or at least most of us. And I was one one of the few who had the privelage of the First Day First Show. As it is pretty evident, the movie was much hyped and expectations were very high. And hey, it did meet the expectations to quite some extent.
I am going to be good enough and not reveal anything about the story, but let me just give you a skimmed review.
Well, HRITIK ROSHAN takes the cake! Amazing acting! And man! Kareena Kapoor is absolutely fabulous too! They look sooo cute together! Its all an out a love story with all the masala you may expect. Jackie Shroff is pretty convincing in the movie too.
The music is absolutely fantabulous and the dances compliment it further. Even if you hate Hindi movies, you should go and see it for the songs and dances.
Well, that was all the goody goody stuff. Now brace yourself for some true crap! Some of the ideas are so indigeneous, that you cannot believe them at all. For example, Hritik swims for 2 days in a choppy sea...with a boat tied by a rope to his waist....AND Kareena Kapoor in THE BOAT! Man! Give me a break! And hey, did I mention the crocodiles? I think you should see them for yourself and decide their need in the movie. And hey, Jackie Shroff(Uncle Raj) is a middle class (presumably poor) man! But he has a house the size of a palace and is in and out of England every 2 days or so! Amazing poverty I must say. And hey, Hritik is called Ronit, which is a nice change from the old names.
Well, I guess, you should see this movie no matter what I, or for that matter, anyone else says! You've heard the music..now go see the movie...and the advertisements for Coke and Pass Pass(see the movie and you will know what I mean)
