Worst experience at YLG Bellandur

It was going be such an exciting day.I knew about YLG's 50% Thursday facial offer and had always wanted to avail it but never got off early from my busy schedule at office. But the day before yesterday I somehow came to know that yesterday would be an early day off so I happily booked my facial appointment at YLG Bellandur at around 6:45 pm.


Yesterday(23rd April, 2015), as per the schedule, I got off work early and headed all excited to the salon. Just when I was about to leave the rain started pouring heavily and it was difficult to get transportation but I still decided to go as I have been a regular customer of YLG and was really excited to avail this offer finally. So I set off and reached salon on time, despite the incessant rains.


The salon girls there are really courteous and helpful with an encouraging smile on their faces and I started to discuss with one of them, about the types of available facial services. We had a serious 10 minutes discussion. There was a confusion between a 1500(glovite facial) and a 700(citrus facial) and finally I decided to go for the least costly one.(Of course, because it was 50% off and I wanted to avail a great service for half the price). I was super excited. Little did I know about the most horrible experience was about to follow.


After the service ended, I reached to the bill counter and asked for the bill expecting it to be just some 300 odd rupees. But to my surprise the bill amount was some 890 rs!


I was shocked and I asked the receptionist about the offer. And then FINALLY they revealed that tTHIS particular facial did not have any offer on it! Now now now. Who was supposed to tell me that? None of the hoardings/cards/menu-cards/pamphlets said anything about this. I felt cheated and betrayed. NO ONE, from the time of the booking till the final discussion, even bothered to inform me about this. If I had to pay 800 odd rupees, why should I not have gone for the more expensive and better facial instead? Was it not their responsibility to keep the customer informed and not cheat on them so blatantly?


And this was not it. The horror continued. I called upon the manager of YLG Bellandur, Mr. Krishna to have a word with him. I told him how I was cheated and how it was not about the money. I told him that I wanted some kind of redress-al. I asked him what he can do about this. And you know what he did? He absolutely denied any alternative solution started shouting at me. He was not even ready to listen to what I was saying. I was so humiliated and hurt. He was not even ready to accept that they had made a mistake and on top of that he was pouring out perks of this monstrous attitude.


And finally when he started acting extremely rude, I walked out without paying anything.


I also understand there could be lot of human errors in day to day life. But THIS attitude is what is not acceptable. Its sad and disgusting. Making a mistake and then not accepting it. I would have calmed down if Mr. Krishna would have AT LEAST had the courtesy and HUMILITY to accept his mistake and agree to find an alternative. But I got nothing of that sort. I definitely did not deserve this from YOU guys. This is HORRENDOUS.


If not anything, I expected a little morality from a salon like YLG. I expected a little empathy for a very regular customer and I expected a little less blatant lying and lack of empathy.


Really horrible customer service. SO disappointed. YLG, YOU SUCK. You sure lost a customer today and many more in the coming days, for sure. I will make sure you do.
