I had the most horrible waxing experience with them the other day. I had booked an appointment, but only on having reached there I was informed that they were out of chocolate wax, something that should have been told to me over the phone itself. I would have gone elsewhere. I was made to wait for another 20-25 minutes before my services were started.
I had a coupon for 1000 rupees, which I wanted to redeem, but I was falling short of some 120 rupees since they were out of chocolate wax. So I clarified in the beginning of my services and they told me it was not a problem since I could pre-bill for that amount and avail the services later on. I then started with my waxing. The female working on me gave me bruises in four places on my legs, so much so, that I started bleeding.
I then requested for a change. After my services when I went to make the payment, the manager at the counter told me that pre-billing was not allowed. Even my operator denied that she had said anything like that. They basically wanted to get more money out of me. So they told me to avail my coupon later, and pay the entire amount this time. Also, I was really offended by the behaviour of the staff there.
The so called 'assistant manager' was a really ill mannered young lad, and he started yelling at me. They should at least realize that if you yell at people, they wouldn't come back! After about fifteen minutes of arguing, he agreed to pre bill me, but at the same time, he also told me that they may not let me redeem it later on, since this was not allowed! As if he was doing me some favour.
This kind of humiliation is totally unacceptable. When they want you to take some of their packages, and your services do not sum up to the required amount, they are more than willing to change their rules and pre-bill your, just because it suits them.
I am never going back there, and neither are my friends! Even local parlous are better than them. They are a bunch of lying, untrained and ill mannered people.
