New Xiaomi camera
Dubbed the Xiaomi Yi 4K+ , this new action camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 frames per second with its 12MP Sony IMX377 sensor. It also comes with a 2.19-inch touchscreen display which is protected by a Gorilla Glass Retina.

The Xiaomi Yi 4K+ , which is set to be introduced during the Consumer Electronic Show ( CES) 2017 beginning this Jan. 5, will also have a WiFi connectivity for streaming of videos and a battery which can last for two hours. Aside from these, the new action camera will also have an electronic stabilization feature and dual microphones. It will sell for $250.
Yi's newest introduction will allow users to record videos of fast objects better than any other action camera in the market. This will surely provide a tough competition to the GoPro Hero 5.
GoPro's newest offering
When it was released last year, the GoPro Hero 5 has the ability to record 4k to 8k videos from 30 to 60 frames per second. It also has an improved video stabilization and has a Snapdragon 800 chipset.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is that it is already waterproof and can be submerged in water without the need for additional casing. The GoPro Hero 5 cameras also has voice recognition making it easier for users to take photos and videos with voice commands.
As for its battery, the GoPro Hero 5 has a 1, 160 mAh capacity battery. It is sold for $399 in retail stores.
