Great phone for the money. Review on Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G

While some people spent 45000 rupees for iphone 6 just to have surprise that it does not support 4G network of airtel, I just spent rs.7999 to have an amazing 4G phone.

As I always do all kind of research to buy anything, I also did so much research before buying this. My requirement was a 4G suported phone which has a good battery life and good processor performance. This phone completely satisfys this requirement. And also I have plently of other advantages in this phone. Let me list out the pros and cons here:

Pros:

1. The first and foremost thing is the battery life as I said earlier. It lasts for almost 1.5 to 2 days when it is a moderate usage. And 1 day if it is a heavy usuage. Heavy usage I mean is keeping the phone always connected to 3g or wifi, and using extensively the social media apps like fb, youtube or whatsapp. Seeing videos etc.,

   
   




2. Performance: I have installed various apps and use to play car games when I listion to songs. I dont see any impact on performance.

   
   




3. Prices vs feature: for rs.7999 I got a 4g phone which has 3000 mhz battery, gps and agps, dual core processor with 2 gb ram. This is a great deal for a smart phobe.

   
   




4. Root support: I am a techie. I had rooted my previous samsung phone and the warrenty become void as I rooted it. But here xiomi itself supports root. They provide native root file in their website. And ur warrenty will still be valid. As I have rooted my phone, am enjoying plenty of options in my phone.

   
   




5. Free cloud back up: you can back up ur contact, or photos to the storage space they provide. Though this feature is available in all andriod phone with ur gmail account, it would be still useful for those who dont have a google account.

   
   

Now coming to cons:

1. Slow battery charging. The way it takes longer time to drain the bettery, it also takes longer time to charge. I tried speed charger and everything but ot doesnt help.

   
   




2. Native language is chinese. When u have to flash ir phone or do external rooting, you will see chinese language.

   
   

Verdict: leaving the minor cons, this phone is an amazing phone with plenty of features for the money u pay.
