First I am a great fan of xiaomi as a company. The way there product ideas are and how Innovative their products. I just love it, and after introduction/launch of this phone I became even bigger fan. A phone with 16MP camera, 3GB RAM and a FingerPrint Sensor at a price range of just Rs.13000, you cannot ask for more.
Design:
This Phone has all metal body design with rounded corners, got speaker on back, round fingerprint scanner under the 16MP shooter. As always charging port on the bottom. Headphone jack at the top. Volume and power button to the right. Phone feels good in hands. Sim-card slot on the left, where you can use 2 SIMs or one SIM and one SD card.
Speed:
This Phone has 2 variants one with 2GB RAM and other higher with 3GB RAM. Both the variants have same processor Snapdragon 650, 64-bit hexa-core 1.8GHz with Adreno 510 ensuring you never get a lag. I tried comparing the 3GB variants with various competitive phone in the similar price bracket and believe me it has the best performance from all of them. Xiaomi Phones always struggles with memory management issues but after testing this phone memory management I was quite surprised. After opening so many apps I had Asphalt 8, twitter, youtube with playing video, play music, message app and 2 more in the ram.
Camera:
All I have to say about the camera is that it has the best camera from all the redmi series phones. Before this phone all the redmi series phones have the decent camera performance. But the new 16MP rear shooter camera with dual led flash meets the expectations. It also support Phase Detection AutoFocus(PDAF) which xiaomi claims to only take 0.1s to take picture. It has aperture of f2.0. The phones camera performance in low light is bad.. Rear camera can shoot FullHD videos at 1080P. They have also added a time lapse feature. Front facing camera is 5MP shooter with which you can shoot some decent and good selfies.
Battery Life:
Beast. This one word explains it all. It has 4050mAh non-removable battery. After using phone for some days, I can tell you that it has very very good battery life as compared to other smartphones. You can use phone for more than a day with a single charge.

Problems:
Decent camera performance in low light.
The biggest problem with this phone is flash sales.
OS, some people don't like the MiUi skin much on the there phone, But some are fans like me. Its just a matter of personal preferences.
If you are going to buy a smartphone around this time redmi note 3 is a pretty good deal to go for.
