Last summer, I was busy choosing a better mobile device that suits my requirements. I went through many and tried to choose from only those reputed mobile brands that were in the business from a long time. Meanwhile, I came across Xiaomi and I didn't think twice but to skip that brand as it was a chinese mobile and many of us got a pretty bad image on chinese products. But then, again, I was advised by many of my friends to go for Redmi 3S stating that it perfectly suits my requirement and I'd not be disappointed.
Therefore, I went on with the decision to purchase Xiaomi Redmi 3S and I can't say how much relieved I am for choosing this device. The product works so damn great even after an year of my intense usage. The device is perfectly shaped with both best hardware and the software for the price range that it belongs to. I was a little skeptic about the UI that Redmi is offering(as it was not a custom ROM and was packed with it's own MIUI) but then when I used it for few days, I was happy with that too. I have never had any problem with the performance of the device, nor the look and feel of it.
Few things I thought were missing:
• The Hybrid SIM slot is great if we were not set into a choice game to choose either of SIM card and SD card.
• MIUI lacked a little bit on customizing although, the themes which MI store provided were great
• Since there is no traditional menu available in the MIUI home screen, I'd wished if there was an infinite scrolling option enabled in the home screen
• The dock that redmi had was restricted to have only few of many shortcut buttons and we have to remove something to add something else to the list
Other than the above, there's actually nothing to complain about in this wonderful device. There no wonder why Xiaomi is growing with such a good pace in the field of smart devices.
