The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is one of the cheapest phablets you can get and that will most likely put it on your radar sooner or later. It may be a mere blip if you're the kind of person who consciously avoids the extremes.
Look and feel-
There is nothing different about the way the Redmi 2 Prime is built, compared to its predecessor the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
No matter how hard you look, you won't find any evidence that it isn't exactly the same as any Xiaomi phone that has come before. Which isn't really a surprise - companies have been splitting inventory between multiple factories in multiple countries for ages. What all of this means is that while "Made in India" is a fantastic promotional tag, it is totally transparent and therefore means pretty much nothing for the end user experience - and that's just the way it should be.
Redmi 2 Prime is the best deal in seven thousand rupees. I got it in a deal in 6.5K from flipkart due to some offer but shelling out money for this product is worth it. I am writing this review after months of usage and believe me, it never failed to amaze me. So, again I ordered this for a friend of mine.
It has all the pros possible and to mention a few are:
Awesome UI, known as MIUI
Amazingly light weight
The grey colour looks like black and that is cool.
No lags whatsoever
Feels grand when you touch and feel cool with amazing grip
Slots of SIM cards and SD Card are easily accessible
It has very few cons and to mention them are:
Apps cannot be installed on SD Card(without rooting)
It heats up a bit after long continuous use(only minor heating after high graphic gaming) [Eg: It heated up when I played Real Racing 3 at a stretch]
Like all the best things has flaws in it, it too has minor setbacks, but in 7K this is ALMOST the best deal. Its not the BEST deal because there are never "best deals" for a mobile phone.:)
My Rating for this product-
Pros:Display 8/10
Battery 7/10
Performance 9/10
Rear camera. 8/10
Front 5/10
