Redmi 2 Prime the first Xiaomi product made in Indian I bought if after a long wait in flipkart as they just go out of stock in minutes, but they are worth waiting
I have been using this for a week so will share the good and bad part of this phone that will help you before buying.
Likes-
On the first look it gives the same look and feel of i-phone.
4.7 inch display is very comfortable to hold and handle rather 5.5
Quite thin and the smooth edges are very convenient.
It is quite light weight and can operate easily in one hand easily.
Display gives a very clean and clear picture even better when compared with Note 4G model.
Touch is very smooth to use and snapdragon processor just works beautifully without any lag.
MIUI 6 interface is lovely with lot of options and lot of customization, I have been finding new things each day.
2 Gb ram and it consumes 1 Gb while using but leaves behind 1Gb free all time, so cool for multitasking.
Upgrading from their previous model 16gb internal storage is really awesome, I dont need to use external card though it supports upto 32 gb, I added all of my 4 Gb songs, movies and videos of 5 gb still lot of space left to use and store data.
Camera is wonderful back cam of 8 Mp gives really quality pics and even the front cam though 2 Mp gives nice and clear images & HD mode on rear cam will give you the best pics, even in low light gives decent pics.
You can enjoy any 1080 movies in this superb display.
The sound output is clear and loud.
Supports 4G though I didn't access 4G it works really fast on 3G but a bit slow on Wifi.
Then the price at which it is offered is really a Bang for money.
Dislikes-
Battery life 2200 could have been better as it drains on using heavy games and 3G data, but not very fast can last minimum of 5 hours on heavy usage.
It takes a bit time to charge and the charging pin's socket is located on at the bottom which is a bit uncomfortable to use while charging.
The back panel is neither very smooth nor rough, would have been better if it had a rough back like moto G model.
The above drawbacks are not very serious wont effect much consider the output this phone gives.
And the heating issue people claim is quite minor one.
And it works on kitkat expecting the update soon, still works well in Kitkat.
Expecting the MIUI 7 update which would be even better.
Overall a wonderful phone under 10K tough fight for K3 note, just perfect in all aspects and you would love it.
Xiaomi is no longer a stranger with the impressive products so can rely on this phone.
